A modern, topical waterproofing system (like Schluter-KERDI) is applied directly behind the tile, creating a fully sealed, waterproof, and vapour-tight enclosure that never allows the underlying structure to get wet.

What is the Schluter-System?

Schluter-Systems is a family of products designed to work together to create a fully bonded, waterproof assembly for tile installations. It includes membranes, drains, profiles, and backer boards. As certified installers, we use this system because we believe it is the most reliable and highest-performing solution on the market.

Is a heated floor system difficult to install?

When installed by a certified professional, it’s a very reliable system. We install the Schluter-DITRA-HEAT system, which combines the heating cables with an uncoupling membrane that protects the tile from cracking, providing warmth and durability in one step.
