Kasa Renos specializes in the professional installation of Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP), the modern flooring solution that perfectly combines the stylish appearance of natural wood or stone with exceptional durability. LVP is the ideal choice for high-traffic or moisture-prone areas where you are unwilling to compromise on design. Our expert installers ensure a flawless, lasting result by focusing on the most critical element: a perfectly prepared subfloor for a perfectly beautiful floor.

The Kasa RenosBenefits of LVP Flooring:

LVP has become one of the most popular flooring choices for a reason. It delivers a powerful combination of aesthetic appeal and practical performance that is unmatched by many other materials.

Uncompromising Subfloor Preparation

The #1 cause of LVP failure is an uneven subfloor, which leads to clicking sounds and broken joints. We are experts in subfloor preparation and guarantee a foundation that meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications.

Expertise in All LVP Flooring Systems

Whether your project requires a floating “click-lock” system or a full-trowel “glue-down” installation for maximum stability in a commercial setting, our team has the training and expertise to execute it flawlessly.

Seamless Transitions & Finish Details

We pride ourselves on the finishing touches. We ensure clean, professional transitions to other flooring types and make intricate cuts that result in a truly custom, high-end look.

A Clean & Efficient Process

We respect your home or business. Our teams maintain an organized worksite and use professional-grade tools to ensure your installation is completed efficiently and with minimal disruption.

Our 4-Step LVP Flooring Installation Process

1. Consultation & Subfloor Assessment:

We begin with a detailed consultation and an accurate measurement of your space. Most importantly, we assess the subfloor for flatness, as this is the key to a successful LVP installation.

2. Meticulous Subfloor Preparation:

We ensure your subfloor meets the strict flatness requirements specified by the LVP manufacturer. This may involve grinding high spots, patching low spots, or applying a self-leveling compound to create a perfect foundation.

3. Precision Installation & Layout:

Our expert installers lay your LVP with precision, ensuring a proper random stagger for a natural wood look. We make clean, exact cuts around door jambs, cabinets, and architectural features for a seamless finish.

4. Finishing Touches & Handover:

We complete the installation by reinstalling baseboards or adding new quarter-round trim. We then perform a thorough cleanup and conduct a final walkthrough with you to ensure your complete satisfaction.

100% Waterproof Material

Unlike laminate or hardwood, LVP is made from a solid vinyl core, making it completely waterproof from the top down. It will not swell, buckle, or warp when exposed to moisture, making it the perfect choice for any room.

Incredible Durability

LVP is built with a tough, commercial-grade wear layer that actively resists scratches, scuffs, and dents. It is an ideal solution for busy households with kids and pets, as well as demanding commercial environments.

Stunning Realism

High-definition printing technology allows LVP to replicate the authentic look of natural hardwood or stone with remarkable detail, including colour variation, grain patterns, and embossed textures that you can see and feel.

Comfort and Quiet

LVP is warmer and softer underfoot than laminate or tile, making it more comfortable to stand on for long periods. It also has natural sound-dampening properties, which helps to create a quieter space.

Frequently Asked Questions about LVP Flooring Installation

The core material is the biggest difference. LVP has a solid vinyl/polymer core, making it 100% waterproof. Laminate has a high-density fiberboard core, which can swell and be permanently damaged by water. This makes LVP a better choice for any moisture-prone area.
Yes, the plank itself is. When installed, it creates a highly water-resistant surface. While significant amounts of standing water could potentially get through the joints to the subfloor, the planks themselves will not be damaged.
Often, yes. If the existing tile is in good condition, well-adhered, and flat, LVP can usually be installed directly over it. However, the grout lines may need to be filled in and smoothed out first to create a perfectly flat surface.
LVP is highly scratch-resistant, especially products with a thicker wear layer (20 mil or higher). While not scratch-proof, it is one of the most durable and pet-friendly flooring options on the market.
LVP click-lock systems require a flat, stable foundation. If there are high or low spots, the locking joints will be under constant stress as you walk on them, leading to creaking noises, flexing, and eventual breakage of the locking mechanism.
Many modern, high-quality LVP products come with a pre-attached underpad. If the product does not have one, a thin, dense underlayment is typically required to help with sound absorption and minor subfloor imperfections. We will use the correct product as specified by the manufacturer.
